Summary
In light of everything that has been revealed so far, let us review the concepts that were mentioned in this section. First off, the basic idea of Energy is the level of intensity in which an individual approaches life. Its mechanics are broken down into three parts: Energy Density, Energy Structure, and Energy Construct.
Energy Density outlines the fundamental idea of Energy as a whole: Solid and Fluid Energy. In short, Solid Energy is an immovable force that embodies the quality of rigidity while Fluid Energy is a movable force that embodies the quality of flexibility.
Energy Structure highlights the intensity of an individual in terms of observations. In short, Solid Observers are those who are more fixed with their perspectives while Fluid Observers are those who are more malleable with theirs.
Next, Energy Construct highlights the intensity of an individual in regards to decisions. To put it briefly, Solid Deciders are those who are more resolute with their judgment while Fluid Deciders are those who are more flexible with theirs.
By combining someone’s Energy Structure and Energy Construct, we can then ascertain their Type Temperament, in which there are four: Assertive, Conclusive, Decisive, and Receptive. Do keep in mind that each Type Temperament has its own pros and cons, and none are better than the other.
Ultimately, what we should all strive for, regardless of our Type Temperament, is the right balance in order to have the best of all worlds. Because when that balance is found, we will have no difficulty pushing and flowing according to the situations we are in, allowing us to advance through life with relative ease.
And there you have it: Class, Origin, Rhythm, and Energy. These are the core components of the NXT personality framework. While there are several other integrative components that go much deeper into the system, the concepts presented so far should suffice for most. But before you leave, we would like to invite you to explore the final section, where we share some additional thoughts and shed light on the thematic elements of our framework.
