In short, an archetype’s Rhythm underlines the pattern of behavior that they are inclined to express on a regular basis. As you might have noticed, it is made up of several dimensions that allow an array of variations within the same archetype. These variations are identified through one’s Type Drive, Type Style, and Type Variant.

Variations give people their color, and it is our different shades of personality that make life fun and interesting. Yes, all of us will come with our own little quirks that we might sometimes feel ashamed of. But we tend to forget that these quirks are precisely the reason why we are special and worth knowing.

Just imagine if everyone was built exactly the same. Life would not only be bland, but humanity itself might not have survived the countless catastrophes that befell our species ever since our humble beginnings. Humanity’s remarkable display of resilience in the face of adversity can be ascribed to none other than our ability to leverage each other’s differences and transform them into unlikely strengths.

Take a look through the lens of human history and it becomes clear that mankind’s greatest achievements were only possible with the collective contributions from all spectrums of humanity. Because the fact is, there are no good or bad personalities; everyone is gifted with distinct qualities that make up for the blind spots of one another.

So, let us celebrate our differences and appreciate who we are, no matter how we are built. Because as ironic as it sounds, our “flaws” are ultimately the very things that make us perfectly human.

And that is true to a certain extent, as we are beginning to see a decreasing number of possibilities left in merging or dividing the building blocks of personality in ways that can give us meaningful insights.
