Introduction

Overview

As mentioned previously in the Introduction of NXT Energy, mental energy is one's level of sustained interest in doing or thinking about something. Apart from that, there is also the aspect of one's Energy Density, which determines the density of mental energy.

This section, Energy Density, will delve into the density of mental energy and its effects on an individual's observations and decisions. Although individuals may share the same archetype, their behavior may differ in terms of firmness or flexibility. This variation results in the formation of different Energy Densities.

There are two ends of the Energy Density spectrum. The higher the density, the more solid the energy. Likewise, the lower the density, the more fluid the energy. This gives rise to the classification of two Energy Densities: Solid Energy (O) and Fluid Energy (F).



Solid Energy

Solid Energy (O) is the form of mental energy that possesses high density. This energy commonly carries the traits of being firm, aggressive, and forceful. As such, Solid Energy induces a psychological state that is immovable in cognition, emotion, and action.

This energy affects one's observations and decisions separately. If one's observations are Solid, these individuals have Solid Observing Functions. Similarly, if one's decisions are Solid, these individuals have Solid Deciding Functions.



Fluid Energy

Fluid Energy (F) is the form of mental energy that possesses low density. This energy commonly carries the traits of being flexible, passive, and compliant. As such, Fluid Energy induces a psychological state that is movable in cognition, emotion, and action.

This energy affects one's observations and decisions separately. If one's observations are Fluid, these individuals have Fluid Observing Functions. Similarly, if one's decisions are Fluid, these individuals have Fluid Deciding Functions.



Structure & Construct

As mentioned above, the Energy Density of one's observations and decisions are independent of one another. As such, this results in the classification of Energy Structure and Energy Construct.

Energy Structure

Energy Structure is the Energy Density of one's Observing Functions. This will affect all the Observing Functions of an individual regardless of their order of priority.

Individuals who have Solid Observing Functions are more firm with their observations. On the other hand, individuals who have Fluid Observing Functions are more flexible with their observations.

Energy Construct

Energy Construct

Energy Construct is the Energy Density of one's Deciding Functions. This will affect all the Deciding Functions of an individual regardless of their order of priority.

Individuals who have Solid Deciding Functions are more firm with their decisions. On the other hand, individuals who have Fluid Deciding Functions are more flexible with their decisions.
